182 <br /> (WARRANT FOR PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY - See Warrant Book) Com ? <br /> PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY <br /> April 26, 1960 <br /> In pursuance Of the foregoing warrant the legal voters of the <br /> Town of Lexington met in their respective voting places in said Town <br /> of Lexington on Tuesday, April 26, 1960 at two o'clock in the <br /> afternoon. <br /> The following places were designated as the voting places for the <br /> various precincts: Precinct One, Adams School; Precinct Two, East <br /> Lexington Fire Station; Precinct Three _ Cary Memorial Hall; Precinct <br /> Four, High School Building; Precinct Five, Central Fire Station; <br /> Precinct Six, Maria Hastings School. <br /> The following election officers having been duly appointed by the <br /> Selectmen, and Wardens of the various precincts were assigned for <br /> duty as follows: <br /> Precinct One Precinct Two <br /> Rose I. McLaughlin Warden Mary E. Clifford <br /> George E. Foster Clerk Ilda J. Field <br /> Nellie I. Batstone Teller Ruth P. Lutz <br /> Helen I. Bailey Teller Alice G. Marshall <br /> Precinct Three Precinct Four <br /> Randall W. Richards Warden Louise E. Ahern <br /> Elizabeth Fardy Clerk Ida B. Fisk <br /> Edna F. Marshall Teller Lena S. Rochette <br /> Gladys T. Watson Teller Agnes Hall - <br /> Precinct Five Precinct Six <br /> Otis S. Brown, Jr. Warden Mary J. Ferry <br /> J. Carroll Ryan Warden <br /> Veronica Belcastro Clerk Elizabeth F. Downey <br /> Mary A. Spellman Teller Caroline F. Deloury <br /> Elizabeth W. Palmer Teller Mary A. Hallett <br /> The polls were declared open in each precinct at two o' clock <br /> P. M. and remained open until eight o' clock P. M. , after - <br /> which time, after due notice, they were closed. <br /> The election officers were sworn to the faithful performance of <br /> their duties. <br /> The total number of registered voters in each precinct as follows: <br /> Precinct One 2017 Two thousand seventeen - <br /> Precinct Two 2113 Twenty-one hundred thirteen <br /> Precinct Three 1839 Eighteen hundred thirty-nine <br /> Precinct Four 1809 Eighteen hundred nine <br /> Precinct Five 2165 Twenty-one hundred sixty-five <br /> Precinct Six 2026 Two thousand twenty-six <br /> Total 11969 Eleven thousand nine hundred sixty-nine <br /> Reconciliation sheets 'were delivered to the Town Clerk at his <br /> office. <br /> The Town Clerk and the members of the Board of .Registrars <br /> canvassed the results as follows: - <br /> Precinct One Ballots Cast: Dem. 130 Rep. 59 Total 189 <br /> Precinct Two Ballots Cast: Dem 122 Rep. 77 <br /> Total 1 l <br /> 9 <br /> 8Precinct Three Ballots Cast: Dem 43Rep 125 Total16 <br /> Precinct Four Ballots Cast: Dem. 85 Rep. 101 Total 189 <br /> Precinct Five Ballots Cast: Dem. 74.
