<br />Lexington Council for the Arts (LCA) <br />Minutes for Meeting November 9, 2010 <br />Cary Memorial Library <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Zoe Perry-Wood, Chair; Victoria Campos, Recording <br />Secretary; Chris Kyle; Jackie Hawkison; Marilyn Kolb, <br />Treasurer; Jan Goplerud <br />Absent: Jonathan Cue <br /> <br />Call to Order: <br /> <br />Zoe Perry Wood called us to order at 7:25PM. <br /> <br />Secretary's Report <br /> <br /> The minutes for the October minutes were approved. <br /> <br />Topics discussed tonight: <br /> <br />Summary of amount requested in 20 grant applications <br /> <br />received: $22,285. We have $3797 to award (5% has <br />been retained for LCA administrative expenses). Some <br />money may be added to this amount from last year’s <br />grants which have not been claimed for <br />reimbursement. <br />LCA members presented the grants they reviewed. <br /> <br />We rejected 10 applications mostly because of lack of <br /> <br />venue stated. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
