M. at Cary Memorial Hall. <br /> There were 196 Town Meeting Members present. <br /> The invocation was offered by Rev. Edward J. Gaudette, Curate <br /> at St. Brigid's Church. 8:09 P. M. <br /> Town Clerk, Mary R. McDonough, read the warrant for the meeting <br /> until further reading was waived. 8:10 P. M. <br /> The Town Clerk read the Constable's Return of the warrant. <br /> 8:10 P. M. <br /> Robert Cataldo, Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, asks that <br /> the members pause briefly to remember Alden L. Ripley and Robert <br /> C. Johnson, two Town Meeting Members who had died since the last <br /> Town Meeting. 8:11 P. M. <br /> Article 2. Robert M. Gary, Chairman of the Appropriation Committee, <br /> states that the tax rate for 1970 will be approximately <br /> $65.45 if the recommendations of the Appropriation <br /> Committee are followed, <br /> Mr. Gary moves that the Annual Report and Supplemental <br /> Report of the Appropriation Committee be accepted and <br /> placed on file. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:13 P. M. <br /> Van T. Boughton, Chairman of the Capital Expenditures - <br /> Committee, moves that the report of the Capital Expendi- <br /> tures Committee be accepted and placed on file. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:13 P. M. <br /> Stanley A. Brown, Chairman of the Lexington: Hunting <br /> Safety Committee, moves that the report of the Lexington <br /> Hunting Safety Committee be accepted and placed on file. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:14 P. M. <br /> William R. Whalon moves that the report of Regional <br /> Refuse Disposal Planning Committee be accepted and <br /> placed on file. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:15 P. M. <br /> Erik Lund moves that the report of the Subsidized <br /> Housing Program for the Town of Lexington, Mass, be <br /> accepted and placed on file. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:15 P.
