<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> TOWN WARRANT <br /> Town of Lexington <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss. <br />To any of the Constables of the Town of Lexington Greetings: <br /> <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are to notify the inhabitants of the Town of <br />Lexington qualified to vote in elections and in Town affairs to meet in their respective voting places in said <br />Town. <br /> <br />PRECINCT ONE, HARRINGTON SCHOOL; PRECINCT TWO, BOWMAN SCHOOL; PRECINCT <br />THREE, JONAS CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT FOUR, BRIDGE SCHOOL; PRECINCT <br />FIVE, FISKE SCHOOL; PRECINCT SIX, WILLIAM DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT <br />SEVEN, ESTABROOK SCHOOL; PRECINCT EIGHT, FIRE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING; <br />PRECINCT NINE, MARIA HASTINGS SCHOOL, on Monday, the twentieth day of May, 2002 at 7:00 <br />a.m., then and there to act on the following questions: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one- <br />half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds to be issued in order to pay for <br />improvements to town streets, and to take by eminent domain, purchase or otherwise acquire any <br />fee, easement or other interest in the land necessary therefor? <br />Yes No <br /> <br /> <br />2.Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one- <br />half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds to be issued in order to reconstruct the <br />Lincoln Park athletic fields and parking lot? <br />Yes No <br /> <br /> <br />3.Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one- <br />half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds to be issued in order to design, construct, <br />originally equip and furnish two new elementary schools to replace the current Fiske and <br />Harrington Elementary Schools? <br /> Yes No <br /> <br />The polls will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />And you are directed to serve this warrant seven days at least before the time of said meeting as provided in <br />the Bylaws of the Town. <br /> <br />Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or <br />before the time of said meeting. <br /> <br />Given under our hands this 3rd day of April, 2002. <br /> <br /> Jeanne K.
