Munroe Center for the Arts <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />Zoe Perry-Wood called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM <br />Secretary's Report <br /> <br />The minutes for the February ‘09 meeting were accepted. <br /> <br />Treasurer's Report <br /> <br /> The treasurer’s report was accepted. There is a balance of $ 7013.45 <br /> <br />Grant Business: <br /> <br />The grant letters have been mailed to all grant applicants. <br /> <br />New Business: <br /> <br />Christian and Janet Hart described their collaborative vision in creating <br />Lexington Open Studio slated for Saturday May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2009. <br />Lexington affiliated artists and artisans are called to participate, and <br />encouraged to open their homes/studios for the community at large to view <br />their art. Additional display space will be available, including galleries at <br />the Sundial Bookstore, Arts and Crafts Society and Munroe Center. LCA <br />members are encouraged to spread the word, and volunteer for a variety of <br />tasks leading up to the date. Several ideas were discussed for attracting <br />artists or display space. <br />Lexington Arts and Crafts society described other fundraising art <br />shows that were very successful this past year, especially during the <br />holidays. <br /> <br />
