(WARRANT FOR SPECIAL TOWN MEETING IN WARRANT FILE) <br /> SPECIAL TOWN MEETING - DECEMBER 5, 1977 <br /> The meeting was called to order in Cary Memorial Hall at 8:08 -P.M. by the <br /> Moderator, Lincoln P. Cole, Jr. <br /> There were 169 Town Meeting Members present. <br /> The invocation was offered by Rev. Ted Ross Peterson of the Church of Our <br /> Redeemer. 8:10 P. M. <br /> - Town warrant for the meeting was read by Mary R. McDonough, Town Clerk, <br /> until further reading was waived. 8:12 P. M. <br /> The Town Clerk read the Constable's Return of the Warrant. 8:12 P. M. <br /> Article 1. Donald B. White, Chairman of the Appropriation Committee, moved <br /> that the Report.of the Appropriation Committee be accepted and <br /> placed on file. <br /> Carried Unanimously. 8:12 P.M. <br /> The Moderator stated that Article 1 would remain open throughout <br /> the meeting. 8 :12 P.M. <br /> Article 2. Presented by Manfred P. Friedman. <br /> MOTION: That the Town accept Chapter 808 of the Acts of 1975. <br /> 8:12 P.M. <br /> Mr. Friedman filed the Report of the Planning Board. 8:13 P.M. <br /> After giving an explanation, Mr. Friedman stated that the Planning <br /> Board unanimously recommends passage of Article 2. <br /> 8 :18 P.M. <br /> Main motion, as presented by Mr. Friedman, declared carried unanimously. <br /> 8:20 P.M. <br /> Article 3. Presented by Manfred P. Friedman. <br /> (App. by MOTION: That Section 10 of the Zoning By -Law of the Town be amended <br /> Atty. as set forth in the article. <br /> Gen., 8:20 P.M. <br /> Mar. 15, <br /> 1978• Mr. Friedman filed the Report of the Planning Board. 8:20 P.M. <br /> Posted <br /> in Town (Article 3 as set forth in the warrant: <br /> Office <br /> Bldg. To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 10 of the Zoning By -Law <br /> & 9 by: <br /> Prec. <br /> on 1. Striking the words "General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 1 to 22 <br /> Apr. 4, inclusive" and substituting therefor the words "Section 2A of <br /> 1978.) Chapter 808 of the Acts of 1975" <br /> 2.
