FallIck, read the Warrant for <br /> the Meetin until waived. <br /> 8105 p.m. The Town Clerk read the Constable's Return of the <br /> Warrant, <br /> The Moderator explained procedures for the evenin <br /> ----------------------------------------------- <br /> ARTICLE 1. REPORTS <br /> 8:16 p.m. - John Eddison, Board of Selectmen, moved that the <br /> report of the Affordable Housin Options Committee be accepted and <br /> placed on file. Followin a unanimous voice vote at 81:16 p.m., <br /> the Moderator declared that the report had been accepted and <br /> placed on file. <br /> 84.18 Pffi m. - Paul Marshall, Board of Selectmen, moved that the <br /> report of the Pine Meadows/Mea Site Plan Development <br /> Committee be accepted and placed on file. Followin a unanimous <br /> voice vote at 84618 p.m., the Moderator declared that the report <br /> had been accepted and placed on file. <br /> 8:18 p.m. - Richard White, Town Mana explained the impact of <br /> Governor Dukakis 's reduction of Local Aid, the scope of the <br /> Selectmen's bud review process, and the attempt to maintain <br /> quality of service and life in Lexin <br /> 8:34 p.m. - Poll Woodworth, School Committee, g ave an explanation <br /> of the School Committee process and the decision to modif Article <br /> 38 of the March Meetin Computer Purchases. <br /> 8-443 p.m. Michael O'Sullivan, Appropriations Committee, moved <br /> that the report of -the Appropriation Committee be accepted and <br /> placed on file® Followin a voice vote at 8.-44 p.m., the <br /> Moderator declared that the report had been accepted and placed on <br /> file. Mr. O'Sullivan explained the definancin and <br /> deappropriation process and the various items on the report. <br /> 84:49 p.m. - Karen Docks, Capital Expenditures Committee, moved <br /> that the report of the Capital Expenditures Committee be accepted <br /> and placed on file. Following a voice vote at 8:49 p.m., the <br /> Moderator declared that the report had been accepted and placed on <br /> file. <br /> 2 P ,m. - N Barnert, Representative to the Minuteman <br /> Vocational School Committee, stated that there would be a <br /> reduction of funds allocated to the school. <br /> 81:53 p.m. - The Moderator declared a Formal Recess for the purpose <br /> of discussion. <br /> A series of q ixestions and answers followed. The Selectmen's point <br /> of view at this time concernin overrides was stat.ed: most <br /> operatin bud overrides have failed* there is a wish not to <br /> harness people for an override for this amount of mone there is <br /> the intent for a good education process between now and the next <br /> Annual Town Meetin when we eliminate budgets, the q ualit y of <br /> . ... ...... <br />
