Mazzey, Esq., <br /> Selectmen, Lexington. <br /> Dear Sir -.- <br /> Enclosed herewith find the approval of your Return of State <br /> Aid for the month of August last.. <br /> ` Your attention is called to the disallowance of $4.00, <br /> charged as paid to Sidney Butters. <br /> By the Commissioners' letter of Aug. 7th. last, the Selectmen <br /> were requested to discontinue further payment, as two payments had al- <br /> ready been made beyond the time set-, and the span was not considered <br /> to be in need. <br /> If Mr. Butters is drawing $12.00 per month pension, and earn- <br /> ing as gate-tender $30.00 per month, he is not entitled to State Aid , <br /> and we must ask you to pay no more Aid until the case is investigated. <br /> Rlespectfully yours , <br />
