<br /> . 15 To see if the town will make the appropriations

<br /> rt. 16. To see if the town will authorize their Treasurer,
<br /> er the direction of the Selectmen, to borrow money for
<br /> necessary purpose, in anticipation of the collection of
<br /> .es the current year, the same to be repaid directly
<br /> )m the proceeds of said taxes, or act in manner relating
<br /> "!fliere'o.
<br /> Art. 17. To see what measures the town will adopt in
<br /> relation to the collection of taxes the ensuing year, or act in
<br /> any manner relating thereto.
<br /> Art. 18. To see if the town will make an appropriation
<br /> to construct sidewalks with concrete or other material where
<br /> the abuttors will pay one-half the expense thereof.
<br /> Art. iq. To see if the town will vote to locate a fire
<br /> alarm box at the corner of Ward and Ash streets, or act in
<br /> any manner relating thereto.
<br /> Art. 20. To see if the town will make an appropriation
<br /> for the proper _ventilation of the Stone Building, or act in
<br /> any manner relating thereto.
<br /> Art. 2 1. To see if the town will accept the provisions
<br /> of Chapter 158 of the Acts of 1896, entitled -An act rela-
<br /> tive to the apportionment of the assessment for betterments,"
<br /> or act in any manner relating thereto.
<br /> Art. 22. To see what action the town will take in rela-
<br /> tion to the acceptance of an extension of Pelham road; also
<br /> a new street leading from Pelham road to Warren street.
<br /> Art. 23. To see if the town will make an appropriation
<br /> €car-noving-the condition of the old cemetery, or act in
<br /> any manner relating thereto.
<br /> Art. 24. To see if the town will accept an extension of
<br /> Merriam street, from its present terminus as accepted by the
<br /> town across the estate of Francis B. Hayes to East street;
<br /> also a street connecting with a street called Grant street, at
<br /> present not accepted by the town, on a plan of lots of
<br /> David W. Muzzey and continuing from said street on said
<br /> plan from its present terminus on said plan to East street,or
<br /> act in any manner in relation thereto.
<br /> Art. 25. To see what action the town will take in rela-
<br /> tion to the abolition of grade crossings in the town of Lex-
<br /> ington, at Woburn, Grant, Merriam, Hancock, Revere and
<br /> Bedford streets, or act in any manner relating thereto.
<br /> Art. 26. To see if the town will vote to issue bonds to
<br /> the amount of ten thousand dollars under the authority and
<br /> provisions of Chapter one hundred and sixty (16o) of the
<br /> Acts of 1896, for the purpose of refunding an equal amount
<br /> of bonds of the town denominated -Lexington Water
<br /> Bonds," which become due November i, igoi, or act in
<br /> any manner relating thereto.
<br /> Art. 27. To see if the town will lay out and construct
<br /> the highway from Lincoln street and Spring street to
