WARRANT <br /> FOR A <br /> TOWN ME TING, <br /> MONDAY, APRIL 25, 1892. <br /> To WILLIAM B. FOSTER, Constable of Lexington, GREETING : <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby required to notify and <br /> warn the inhabitants of the Town of LEXINGTON, qualified to vote in Town affairs, to assem- <br /> ble at the TOWN HALL, on <br /> Zonday, Awnril1� , J B., I""W9Q15 <br /> / iiJVV <br /> at seven and a half o'clock, p. m., to act on the following Articles, namely :— <br /> Art. i. To choose a moderator to preside at said meeting. <br /> Art. 2. To hear the report of any committee that may be ready to report, and act thereon. <br /> Art. 3. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of five thousand dollars to pay a note to the Trust- <br /> ees of the Cary Library, due Feb. 2S, 1892, or authorize the Treasurer, under the direction of the Selectmen, to <br /> renew said note, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br /> Art. 4. To hear the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of Chandler street, and act thereon. <br /> Art. 5. To see if the Town will make an appropriation for watering streets the present season. <br /> Art. 6. To see if the Town will grant the use of the Town Hall, free of expense, to Post 119, G. A. R., <br /> and the Woman's Relief Corps, for entertainments. <br /> Art. 7. To see if the Town will make an appropriation to execute the order of the County Commissioners <br /> on Bedford St., from the junction of Main and Monument streets to the Bedford line, or act in any manner relat- <br /> ing thereto. <br /> Art. S. To see what action the town will take in relation to the settlement of the claim of Robinson 8r <br /> Blaney in the case of J. Merrill Brown against the town on account of services as architect for Hancock School <br /> house. <br /> Art. 9. To see if the Town will.increase'the compensation of the janitor of Town Hall building. <br /> Art. Io. To see if the Town will increase the compensation of the Collector of Taxes. <br /> Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town <br /> Clerk, on or before the time of said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands at Lexington, this sixth day of April, A.
