WARRANT FOR A TOWN MEETING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 31 1.891.

<br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify
<br /> and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, qualified by law to vote in State,
<br /> County,and District affairs, to assemble at the TOWN HALL, on TUESDAY, the Third Day
<br /> of November, A. D., 1891, at seven o'clock A. M., to cast their ballots for the following State,
<br /> District and County officers, and also for or against two amendments to the Constitution of
<br /> the Commonwealth, as follows :—
<br /> Governor—Lieutenant-Governor— Councillor for Third Councillor District Secretary of
<br /> the Commonwealth—Treasurer and Receiver General Auditor —Attorney General —
<br /> Senator for Second Middlesex District—Representative in General Court for Nineteenth Mid-
<br /> dlesex District— Clerk of the Courts for Middlesex County— Register of Deeds for Southern
<br /> District of Middlesex County—County Treasurer for Middlesex County— County Commis-
<br /> sioner for Middlesex County— also, Article of .Amendment to the Constitution relative to the
<br /> qualifications of Voters for Governor, Lieutenant-Governor, Senators and Representatives; also,
<br /> Article of Amendment to the Constitution fixing the numbers of members necessary to consti-
<br /> tute a quorum, in each branch of the General Court.
<br /> The election officers will receive votes for the above named officers all on one ballot, and votes on the
<br /> Amendments to the Constitution will be received at the same time.
<br /> The polls will be opened immediately after the organization of the meeting and will be kept open until four
<br /> o'clock, P. M., and as much longer as the meeting may direct, not to extend beyond sunset.
<br /> Hereof fail not, and Make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or
<br /> before the time of said meeting.

<br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachnsetts,you are hereby required to notify and
<br /> warn the inhabitants of - the town of Lexington, qualified by law to vote in town affairs, to
<br /> assemble at the Town Hall on TUESDAY, the third day of November, A. D., 1891, at two
<br /> o'clock, P. M., to act on the following articles, namely .—
<br /> Art. 1. To choose a Moderator.
<br /> Art. 2. To hear the report of any Committee that may be ready to report and act
<br /> thereon.
<br /> Art. 3. To see if the town will purchase 330 feet of land of the Rindge Estate in exchange
<br /> for the same number of feet from the Hancock School Lot, for the purpose of strightening the
<br /> division line.
<br /> Art. 4. To see if the town will grant the use of the Town Hall, on Sundays, to the First
<br /> Baptist Society for their religious meetings, free of rent.
<br /> Art. 5: To see if the town will authorize the Selectmen to allow L. A. Saville the use of
<br /> the town officers' room . for the transaction of business by him, other than as town officer, on
<br /> such terms as may be agreed upon.
<br /> Art. 6. To hear the report of the Selectmen on the extension of Harrison street to Oakland
<br /> street, on the petition of James P. Prince and others.
<br /> Art. 7. To see if the town will extend Mount Vernon street to Main street, and make an
<br /> appropriation therefor, or act in any manner relating thereto.
<br /> HEREOF FAIL NOT, and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to
<br /> the Town Clerk, on or before the time of said meeting.
