<br /> YOU are hereby requited, in the name of the Commonwealth of
<br /> "MasshChtisetttts',kto notify a,d wwarn, ip manner and',form as prescribed
<br /> by'the By-Laws of the Town, the qualieil Voters of the Town of
<br /> Le'vgton to assemble at the Old Meeting House,I gf said Town,
<br /> on Monday,the first day of April next,at 1 o'clock,P. M.,to give in
<br /> their Votes for three County Commissioners and two Special Commis-
<br /> sioners,for said County, and you are alike required to notify and warn
<br /> the qualified Voters in said Town, to assemble at said House,on said
<br /> day,at two o'clock,P. M.,to act on the following Articles,viz.:
<br /> ART. 1. To choose a Moderator.
<br /> ART. 2. To fill all vacancies in Town Offices.
<br /> ART. 3. To choose a School Committee.
<br /> ART. 4. To see if the Town will instruct the,Selectmen to lay
<br /> out a road from the house of Charles Robinson, to the Countv road
<br /> near Farm Meadow Brook,so called.
<br /> ART. 5. To see if the Town will dispose of their two fire En-
<br /> gines,and procure two Suction Engines, to be situated in each of the
<br /> two Villages of the Town, or act otherwise on the article.
<br /> ART. 6. To see if the Town will direct the Constable to have
<br /> the Town's expenses for the last year printed. Also,the Reports of
<br /> the Committee chosen to audit the accounts of the I Overseers of the
<br /> Poor,' and the°Trustees of the Ministerial Fund,' in pamphlet form,
<br /> to be distributed with the next warrant for a Town Meeting, or other-
<br /> wise act on the articles.
<br /> ART. 7. To see if the Town will adopt some plan to enforce
<br /> the observance of their By-Laws at town meetings,or repeal the
<br /> same.
<br /> ART. 8. To see if the town will direct a suitable public notice
<br /> of the approaching Anniversary of the Battle of Lexington,April 19th,
<br /> 1775.
<br /> ART. 9. To see if the Town will accept the List of Jurors sub-
<br /> mitted by the Selectmen.
<br /> ART. 10. To see if the Town will so alter the Centre Highway
<br /> District, as to take from Concord Road District that portion from the
<br /> Liberty-Pole to Vine Brook,and add the same to the East Village Dis-
<br /> trict,or act otherwise relating to the same.
<br /> ART. 11. To see if the Town will cause the two burying-grounds
<br /> to be fenced in a suitable manner,or act otherwise thereon.
<br /> ART. 12. To hear the reports of Committees,and act thereon.
<br /> Hereof fail not,and make return of this Warrant with your doings
<br /> thereon on or before the time prefixed.
