July 14th91891. <br /> Webster Smi th,Es q e , <br /> Chairmen,Board of Selectmels <br /> Lexington,Mass. <br /> Dear Sir;- <br /> I h ar a Yo ur s o f July 13 th and will today put the same in t h e <br /> hands of our Chief Eng inear and instruct him to endeavor to so <br /> locate those gate poste as to render them not dangerous for the <br /> public. I am aware that gate posts are a nuisance in the street ; <br /> at Ahe same time, the Law compels us to put up a gate and it is a <br /> little difficult to maintain one without a post to hold it. <br /> Yours truly, <br /> General Manag er. <br /> y <br />
