To the Sheriff of the said County of Middlesex or either of his Deputies, or the Constables of the Town of [blank], within the said County, or to either of them, GREETING : IN THE NAME OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, you are required to attach the Goods or Estate of Almond C. Abbott. of said Lexington Labourer to the value of fifty. Dollars, and to summons him (if he may be found in your precinct,) and he may appear before me R. B. Willis Esquire, one of the Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid, at my office in Lexington in said County, on Wednesday the twenty eighth day of January at four o'clock in the afternoon ; then and there to answer to F. M. Harrington of said Lexington Stable Keeper in an action of Contract. To the damage of the said Harrington (as he saith,) the sum of Fifty Dollars, as shall then and there appear, with other due damages. Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Writ, and of your doings thereon, unto myself, at or before the said hour and day of trial. Dated at Lexington aforesaid, the twentieth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven R. B. Willis JUSTICE OF THE PEACE. By virtue of this writ, I have this day attached all the right title and interest of the within named Almond C Abbott in the Hay being in the Barn of Emary Piper, in Lexington near the House C. Hutcherson on the northerly side of main road leading from West Cambridge to Concord, also at the same time I left at his last usual place of abode a summons for his appearance at Court, and on the twenty second day of said January /57 I left a copy without the declaration of said writ, with the attachment made thereon, at the town clerk office in said Lexington Oliver W.
