<br />Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br />SELECTMEN'S MEETING <br />Wednesday, March 27, 2019 <br />A meeting of the Lexington Board of Selectmen was called to order at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, <br />March 27, 2019 in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room of the Town Office Building. Present were <br />Selectmen Ms. Barry, Chair; Mr. Pato; Mr. Lucente; Ms. Hai; and Mr. Sandeen. Also present <br />were Mr. Malloy, Town Manager; Ms. Axtell, Assistant Town Manager; and Ms. Siebert, <br />Recording Secretary. <br />Town Manager Report <br /> Mr. Malloy reported that a notice sent out by Lexington’s municipal aggregation <br />contractor contained errors, including the wrong price. A corrected notice will be <br />reviewed and sent out as soon as possible. <br />Approve Lexington Police Superior Officers, IBPO, Local 501 Collective Bargaining Contract <br />Ms. Barry was recused from this item as her husband is employed by the Lexington Police <br />Department. Mr. Lucente assumed the role of chair. <br />Mr. Malloy asked the Board to consider approval of two MOUs for Local 501, one for FY17-19 <br />(the 3 years in arrears) and the second for FY20-22. Both are consistent with the Board's <br />previous review and approval. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to approve the FY17- <br />19 MOU between the Town of Lexington and the International Brotherhood of Police Officers, <br />Local 501. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to approve the FY20- <br />22 MOU between the Town of Lexington and the International Brotherhood of Police Officers, <br />Local 501. <br />Keno-to-Go Wicked Convenience 195 Massachusetts Avenue <br />Ms. Barry resumed the role of Chair. <br />The Board has been asked by the Massachusetts Lottery Commission to comment if to any <br />objection it might have to the application of Wicked Convenience, 195 Mass Ave to sell KENO- <br />to-Go. KENO screens are not a part of this program. It was noted that no other establishment in <br />Lexington has KENO-to-Go, although several others have either KENO screen licenses and/or <br />KENO scratch tickets. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board voted 5-0 not to object to Wicked <br />Convenience, 195 Mass Avenue, selling KENO-to-Go and to authorize the Chair to send a letter <br />to the Massachusetts Lottery Commission stating the Board's position. <br /> <br /> <br />
