Rice, Town Clerk Tel: (781) 698-4558 <br /> Fax: (781) 861-2754 <br />TOWN BULLETIN <br /> <br />RE: Office of the Attorney General <br />Approval of General Bylaw and Zoning By-Law Amendments of the <br /> 2018 March Annual Town Meeting <br /> <br />DATE: August 10, 2018 <br /> <br />Notification has been received from the Office of the Attorney General, dated August 7, 2018 of <br />the approval of amendments to the General Bylaws and Zoning By-Laws as voted at the 2018 <br />March Annual Town Meeting. <br /> <br />Annual Town Meeting, March 26, 2018 <br /> <br />Zoning By-Law: <br /> <br />Article 38 – Amend Zoning By-Law and Map in Commercial District/Marrett Rd (Citizen Article) <br /> <br />General ByLaws <br /> <br />Article 32 – Amend General ByLaw – Regarding Financial Committees (Citizen Article) <br />Article 33 – Amend Town Bylaw – Ban Plastic Bags (Citizen Article) <br />Article 39 – Amend General Bylaws - Turning Mill Neighborhood Conservation District <br />Article 40 – Amend General Bylaws - Pierce Lockwood Neighborhood Conservation District <br />Article 44 –Amend General Bylaws - Demolition Delay Amendments <br /> <br />In accordance with Ch. 40 §32 of the Massachusetts General Laws, these amendments are hereby <br />posted in a public place in each precinct of the Town for public inspection. Amendments to the <br />General Bylaws take effect on the date of posting. Zoning By-Law amendments are deemed to <br />have taken effect from the date voted by Town Meeting. <br /> <br />Maps and documents pertaining to Zoning Articles may be viewed at the Planning Office and <br />Town Clerk’s Office. <br /> <br />Claims of invalidity by reason of any defect in the procedure of adoption or amendment of <br />Zoning Bylaws may only be made within ninety days of this posting.
