TOWN MANAGER SEARCH SCREENING COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> Wednesday, August 15, 2018 <br /> A meeting of the 'Town Manager Search Screening Committee was called to order at 8:02 a.m. <br /> on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in theTraining Room, Samuel Hadley Public Services <br /> Building. <br /> The members and liaisons present were as follows: Mr. Kelley, Chair; Mr. Lucente, Ms. Hai, Ms. <br /> Thompson, Ms. Colburn, Mr. Creech, Ms. Vine, Ms. Kumar, Mr. DeAngelis, Ms. Lin, Mr. <br /> Colatosti, Mr. Michelson and Mr. Lamb. <br /> Also Present: Mr. Gould and Mr. Stapczynski, Municipal Resources Inc. (MRI). <br /> Approve Minutes <br /> Upon a motion duly made and seconded, 'Town Manager Search Screening Committee voted <br /> 11.-0 to approve the August 6, 2018 regular meeting minutes and further, to approve but not <br /> release the August 6, 2018 Executive Session minutes. <br /> Review Interview Procedures <br /> Mr. Gould gave an overview of the interview schedule and process. He stated that each <br /> Committee Member will have the opportunity to ask each candidate one question during the <br /> panel interview and if time allows additional questions may be asked. <br /> Executive Session -- Candidate Interviews <br /> Upon a motion duly made and seconded and by roll call the 'Town Manager Search Screening <br /> Committee voted 11.-0 to enter into Executive Session at 8:10 a.m. under Exemption 8 to <br /> interview applicants for'Town Manager and to reconvene in Open Session only to announce the <br /> finalists and to then adjourn. It was declared that an open meeting discussion may have a <br /> detrimental effect on obtaining qualified candidates. <br /> Announce Candidates <br /> Mr. Kelly stated that the 'Town Manager Search Screening Committee voted to authorize <br /> Municipal Resources Inc. to extend an invitation to Stephen Crane, Peter Lombardi, and ,lim <br /> Malloy to move forward to interview with the Board of Selectmen for the 'Town Manager <br /> position. <br /> Ad'ourn <br /> L— <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, and by roll call the 'Town Manager Search Screening <br /> Committee voted 11.-0 to adjourn at 3:46 p.m. <br /> A to record; Attest: <br /> Kim Kat7enback <br /> Executive Clerk <br />
