TOWN MANAGER SEARCH SCREENING COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> Monday, August 6, 2018 <br /> A meeting of the 'Town Manager Search Screening Committee was called to order at 4:03 p.m. <br /> on Monday, August 6, 2018 in theTraining Room, Samuel Hadley Public Services Building. <br /> The members and liaisons present were as follows: Mr. Kelley, Chair; Mr. Lucente, Ms. Hai, Ms. <br /> Thompson, Ms. Colburn, Mr. Creech, Ms. Vine, Ms. Kumar, Mr. DeAngelis, Mr. Michelson, <br /> Mr. Lamb, Ms. Lin (arrived at 4:09 p.m.) and Mr. Colatosti (remote via phone). Mr. Kelley <br /> informed the Committee that Mr. Colatosti would be participating in the meeting via conference <br /> call. <br /> Also Present: Mr. Gould, Mr. Stapczynski and Mr. Mercier, Municipal Resources Inc. (MRI). <br /> AplLrove Minutes <br /> Upon a motion duly made and seconded, by roll call the 'Town Manager Search Screening <br /> Committee voted 10-0 to approve theJune 11, 2018 andJuly 12, 2018 minutes. <br /> Overview and Preparation for Interviews <br /> Mr. Gould gave an update on the candidate process stating fifteen candidates submitted essay <br /> responses. He explained MRI completed the background checks as well as the preliminary <br /> screenings. MRI will schedule the panel interviews after the Committee finalizes the list of <br /> candidates. <br /> Mr. Gould stated that Committee Members will have the opportunity to ask the candidates one <br /> question each during the panel interview. Each Committee Members should prepare a list of <br /> several key questions in the event their primary question has already been asked. <br /> Executive Session -- R����at�ons <br /> Upon a motion duly made and seconded and by roll call the 'Town Manager Search Screening <br /> Committee voted 11.-0 to enter into Executive Session at 4:25 p.m. under Exemption 8 to <br /> consider applicants forTown Manager and to reconvene in Open Session only to adjourn.
