586 <br />83 CARY AVE. <br />CHAPTER 706 <br />Mr. Smith said he was going to talk with the State Water Pollution <br />Control Department and also the water Department of the City of Cambridge <br />regarding the condition at Freeman's, 83 Cary Avenue. <br />Mr. Smith talked about the provisions of Section 79 and 174 of Chapter <br />706 of the Acts of 1975 which has taken the standards for swimming pools, <br />bathing beaches, family type camp grounds and the disposal of sewage from <br />the State Health Department and placed them under the Department of Envi- <br />ronmental Quality Engineering. Ace Sanitation Inc. - Disposal <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 p.m. <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />MARCH 1, 1976 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Monday, March 1, <br />1976 in Room G-15 of the Town Office Building. Members present were: <br />Dr. William L. Cosgrove, Chairman; James W. Lambie, Charles E. Ellicott, <br />M. D. and George A. Smith, Director of Public Health. <br />The minutes of the February 2, 1976 meeting were approved as read. <br />The Board discussed the information from John McSweeney, Director of <br />SEWER BACK- Public Works regarding the sewage back-up in the Vine Brook/Turning Mill <br />UP VINEBROOK Road area in January. <br />The Board questioned the letter written by the Board of Selectmen <br />of Burlington to the Board of Selectmen of Lexington stating that they <br />felt the handling of this back-up problem was unsatisfactory and that <br />Lexington was at fault for not notifying Burlington of the matter sooner <br />than they did. <br />
