Members present were: Dr. William <br />L. Cosgrove, Chairman, James W. Lambie, Dr. Charles Ellicott <br />and Robert C. Heustis, Director of Public Health. <br />The minutes of the January 3, 1972 meeting were approved. <br />Mr. Heustis reported that Edward Fitzgerald, 31 James <br />Street, had defaulted on his court appearance regarding the <br />FITZGERALD keeping of 2 ponies without a permit. The 30 days granted Mr. <br />HORSES Fitzgerald to make other arrangements for the ponies are up. <br />The default will'.•mean a warrent will be issued for Mr. Fitz-- <br />gerald's arrest and it will then be up to the judge what action <br />will be taken. <br />Mr. Heustis went on to say that Mr. Fitzgerald talked of <br />applying for a permit to keep one pony. <br />The concensus of the Board was that Mr. Fitzgerald did <br />not have acreage to keep even one pony and according to our <br />Regulations the Board could not grant a variance. <br />The Mystic Valley Mental Health Clinic has submitted a <br />MYSTIC revised budget for 1972 which shows an increase of 3% or $506. <br />'VALLEY dollars for the Town of Lexington. <br />MENTAL <br />HEALTH Mr. Lambie reported that Mrs. Welch explained that the <br />CLINIC insurance payments for some cases and also an under -expended <br />balance for operating costs in 1971 made it possible for the <br />clinic to revise their budget without cutting the services to <br />the Towns. <br />The Board voted to accept this Budget and submit to the <br />Board of Selectmen the sum of $18,376. to be placed in Article <br />27 for Mystic Valley Mental Health Clinic for Town Meeting. <br />Mr. Heustis reported that he and Donald Irwin, Building <br />AIR POLLUTIONInspector attended the hearing on the proposed changes in <br />REGULATION Metropolitan Boston Air Pollution Regulations.
