42U <br />Hancock Church Weekday School <br />Methodist Weekday School <br />Church of Our Redeemer <br />Countryside Kindergarten <br />Lexington Nursery & Kindergarten <br />Meeting; adjourned. <br />Dorothy Jones, Clerk <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 1, 1971 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Mon- <br />day, November 1, 1971 et 7:00 P.M. in Meeting Room G-5 of the <br />Town Office Building. Members present were: Dr. William Cos- <br />grove, Chairman, Mr. James Lambie, Dr Charles Ellicott and <br />Robert C. Heustis, Director of Public Health. <br />The minutes of the October 5, 1971 meeting were approved <br />as read. <br />Mr. Heustis reported that the "Walk for Mankind" was still <br />WALK FOR scheduled. Six portable sanitary facilities (the same type as <br />MANKIND used at Old Res) will be set-up at various checkpoints: 4 at <br />Parker Field; 2 at Signatron and 2 on Conservation Land on <br />Marrett Road. Permission has been obtained to use the facilities <br />in the Bridge, Harrington and Franklin Schools which are on the <br />route of march. <br />1 <br />1 <br />Food for the Marchers will be provided on a volunteer basis by <br />some of the Churches. <br />Mr. Heustis recommended that adults in charge of this March <br />be notified that the comfort stations should have adult super- <br />vision during use. <br />The Board agreed and instructed Mr. Heustis to write a <br />letter to the adults in charge of the March stating whatever <br />conditions he deemed necessary regarding the use of the por- <br />table sanitary facilities. <br />SUB -DIVISION The preliminary sub -division plan for one lot on Mountain <br />MOUNTAIN ROAD Road submitted by Dr. Robert Colbourne, 38 Turning Mill Road, <br />was discussed by the Board. <br />Mr. Heustis said he had talked to Mr. Perley, Engineer <br />for this subdivision, and told him that before this could be <br />approved by the Board a deep test hole should be dug and per- <br />colation tests made. <br />Dr. Colbourne had called the Health Office and said he <br />did not want to have this engineering work done at this time. <br />He warted the Board to approve this plan on condition. <br />1 <br />
