4 408 <br />MYSTIC <br />VALLEY <br />MENTAL <br />HEALTH <br />ASSOCIATION <br />he understood that the contracts will be going out the first <br />of July. <br />The announcement from Mystic Valley Mental Health Assoc. <br />regarding the appointment of Mrs. Muriel Weckstein as Associate <br />Area Director was read and placed on file. <br />The Clerk stated that the 2nd quarter bill had been received <br />from the M.V.M.H. Clinic but the statistics previously requested <br />was not included therefore the bill had not been paid. <br />The Board said they still felt a Clinic report was necessary. <br />Mr. Lambie said he had sent Mrs. Welch a form which she could <br />use for a report that he thought would be helpful to the Board. <br />MEMOS The memos regarding central purchasing and travel accounts <br />were read by the Board and placed on file. <br />The letter to Dr. Alfred Frechette regarding the complaint <br />VIETNAM of the facilities provided for the Vietnam Veterans Against the <br />VETERANS War was read and approved by the Board. Copies of this letter <br />have been sent to Mr. O'Connell, Town Manager and Mr. Robert <br />cataldo, Chairman, Board of Selectmen. <br />Mr. Heustis explained that Dr. Frechette called him at home <br />on Sunday, May 30. 1971, and stated that a Mrs. Madoff had called <br />him complaining that the Public Works Building did not have ad- <br />equate sanitary facilities and that the Town was not allowing <br />food brought in. <br />A site inspection was made by Mr. Heustis and Dr. Cosgrove <br />and they could find nothing wrong with the facilities. Food <br />was being provided by the residents of Lexington. <br />It was also noted at the time of this inspection that the <br />veterans had brought into Lexington a portable comfort station <br />without a permit from the Board of Health. This is in violation <br />of the State Sanitary Code, Article XI, Regulation 2. <br />WEST LYNN The Health Officer's Report was checked and the high milk <br />CREAMERY counts on West Lynn Creamery, samples collected. at Dunkin Donuts, <br />were noted. Mr. Heustis was instructed to check this milk again. <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M. <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />JULY 6, 1971 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Tuesday, <br />July 6. 1971 in the Health Department Office at 7:00 P.M.
