Heustis, Director of Public <br />Health. <br />The minutes of the-ovember 8, 1965 meeting were approved <br />as read. <br />The letter from Donald Legro, Town Counsel, regarding his 18 VINE ST. <br />opinion of the future action to be taken by the Board of Health <br />in regard to the property at 18 Vine Street owned by John <br />Jean Shanahan was discussed by the Board. <br />The original order dated September 23, 1968 gave iBr. Shan- <br />ahan 30 days to correct the condition of wet ceiling and ,later <br />in the upstairs bedroom at 18 Vine St. The tenants who made <br />the original complaint have moved from this multiple dwelling. <br />I'ir. Shanahan has stated in phone conversations with ?-r. Heustis <br />that he would send a letter stating that the apartment would <br />not be rented until repairs were made. To date this letter has <br />not been received by the Health Department. <br />According to Mr. Legro's letter the Board riay: 1. Placard <br />the dwelling as unfit for human habitation or 2. take Lr. Shan- <br />ahan to court because the repairs were not made within the 30 <br />day, period as stated on the original order. <br />
