It?4 <br />GOVERNMANT <br />STRUCTURE <br />SHERATON <br />MOTOR INN <br />MILK <br />SAMPLING <br />there would be enough use for such a kit. <br />Mr. Heustis aaid he could plan to sample brooks and streams <br />about every three months and also would use it for the swimming <br />pools in the summer. <br />The Board approved the purchase of this equipment if there <br />was sufficient funds. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M. <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />JANUARY 5, 1968 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Friday <br />January 5, 1968 in the Selectmen's Room of the Town Office <br />Building. Members present were: Dr. William Cosgrove, Acting <br />Chairman, Dr. Charles Colburn, and Robert Heustis, Director of <br />Public Health. <br />Minutes of the December 1, 1967 meeting were approved as <br />read. <br />Dr. Colburn reported he had attended the Government Struc- <br />ture Committee Meeting as the Board's representative on Thursday, <br />January 4, 1968. Dr. Colburn reported to the Board that this <br />proposal for change of Town Government will be on the Town <br />Warrent this year. <br />The Board briefly discussed the changes in the proposed <br />government structure particularily the proposed set-up for <br />Board appointments, which Dr. Colburn stated he objected to <br />at this meeting. <br />The letter from the Sheraton Motor Inn acknowledging an <br />order for a hot water heater booster was read by the Board. <br />Mr. Heustis reported he had made an inspection at the. <br />Inn recently and the booster had arrived. Also the heating <br />engineer for the Sheraton Hotel Corporation had been, out and <br />inspected the present heater and made a small adjustment to <br />the boiler and the water now, without the booster, was 170 <br />degrees. <br />The letter from Donald Legro, Town Counsel, regarding the <br />sampling of milk was read by the Board. It was agreed by the <br />Board that the method of sampling must be carefully carried out. <br />As Mr. Legro stated in his letter although the methods of the <br />Milk Regulation Board was impractable for regular use it would <br />be wise in extreme cases to use both the regular sampling method <br />and also the sampling method of the Milk Regulation Board. <br />
