A request for $7847. was made <br />based on 25C per capita for the Town of Lexington, this is an <br />increase of $2197. over last years budget. The Board discussed <br />this budget and felt they would like to have more information. <br />The clerk was instructed to; send a letter to the Mental Health <br />Association requesting that a representative of the clinic who <br />could answer any questions on the budget attend the next regular <br />meeting of the Board of Health. No action will be taken on this <br />article until after the December Meeting. <br />Dr. Cosgrove said he had been interviewing dentists for the <br />Dental Clinic and if he is to get a dentist for the clinic he will <br />have to have a hi -speed drill. Dr. Cosgrove said he was looking <br />into a second-hand outfit and will have a definite price within the <br />next few weeks. The Board approved the purchase of this equipment. <br />The clerk reported that the Health Department will have to have <br />a new refrigerator for the biologics station. If there is enough <br />money left in the Budget this year it will be purchased before <br />December 31, if not it will have to be purchased as soon after <br />January 1, 1968 as possible. The purchase of some of the equipment <br />might have to be a special article but the clerk will check with <br />the comptroller's office before the next meeting. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M. <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />DECEMBER 1, 1967 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Friday, <br />December 1, 1967 at 7:00 P.M. in the Selectmen's Room of the <br />Town Office Building. Members present were R.L. McQuillan, <br />Chairman, Dr. William L. Cosgrove, Dr. Charles G. Colburn and <br />Robert Heustis, Director of Public Health. <br />Minutes of the November 3, 1967 meeting were approved as <br />read. <br />Representatives of the Mystic Valley Mental Health Associa- <br />tion met with the Board to discuss the financial operation of <br />the Children's Clinic.
