He had talked to Miss Wright, School <br />Lunch Coordinator, about the matter of proper handling at the <br />various stations. <br />Dr. Cosgrove said he had been requested to ask if there <br />were any regulations in town regarding the fencing of a water <br />hole. He explained that a small pond at the Golf Club had been <br />cleaned out to be used for watering the green, and the people in <br />the area were requesting that a fence be placed around the pond. <br />Mr. Finneran said the Health Department had no such regula- <br />tion, and as far as he knew the Building Department had no such <br />ruling. <br />Renewal licenses and permits were signed by the Board for <br />19 Food Establishments and 2 Swimming Pools. <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M. <br />BOARDOF HEALTH MEETING <br />JULY 11, 1966 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Monday, <br />July 11, 1966 at 7 P.M. in the Health Department Office. Members <br />present: Mr. R. L. McQuillan, Chairman, Dr. William L. Cosgrove, <br />Mr. James M. West, and Mr. James F. Finneran, D;rector of Public <br />Health. <br />109 <br />The following amendment to Chapter VII, Section 1 of the RULES & <br />Rules and Regulations of the Board of Health was duly voted and REGULATIONS <br />adopted by the Board: <br />"No person, firm or corporation shall keep within the <br />limits of this Town, in any building or on any land of <br />which he may be the owner, lessee, tenant or occupant, any <br />horses, cows, goats, swine, sheep, rabbits in excess of <br />ten (10), or poultry, without a permit from the Board of <br />Health. Applications for permits to keep any horses, <br />cows, goats, swine, sheep, rabbits in excess of ten (10), <br />poultry, will be accepted by the Board of Health only if <br />the land to be used is a house lot of more than one (1) <br />acre and with dimensions acceptable to the Board of <br />Health. All such permits expire annually on April 30, <br />and may be revoked at any time by the Bderd." <br />The clerk was instructed to have this change published in <br />the public notices of the Minute Man Publications and also to <br />notify Miss McDonough, Town Clerk, of the change. <br />The subdivision entitled "Longfellow Estates, Section 3" LONGFELLOW <br />
