Mr. R.L. McQuillan was appointed as the Board of Health <br />REPRESENTATIVE representative to the Lexington Visiting Nurse Association. <br />The license for the Josiah W. Hayden Recreation Centre <br />was signed by the Board, this license is for the operation of <br />the swimming pool at the Centre and a license is now required <br />to operate all semi-public and public swimming pools. <br />ANIMAL PERMIT The Animal Permit for Alfred L. Mosley, 12 Field Road <br />to keep one horse was approved by the Board. All abbuttors <br />have been contacted and no objection was received. <br />Upon checking the Health Officer's Report for the period <br />the Board instructed Mr. Finneran to write to Reed's Drug <br />Store and Minute Man Restaurant regarding the high bacteria <br />counts on the eating utensils from the swab test analysis on <br />February 2.6, 1965. <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 P.M. <br />MEETING OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH <br />APRIL 12, 1965 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Monday <br />April 12, 1965 at 7:00 P.M. in the Health Department Office. <br />Members present were: R.L. McQuillan, Chairman, Dr. William <br />Cosgrove, Mr. James M. West and Director of Public Health <br />James F. Finneran. <br />The minutes of the March 16, 1965 meeting were approved <br />as read. <br />B.L. CUMMINGS Mr. McQuillan reviewed the B.L. Cummings Milk Case with <br />the Board. The Board expressed their deep concern regarding <br />the lack of action by the Selectmen and the Town Counsel re- <br />garding the restraining order on the Milk Inspector, Mr. Fin- <br />neran and the Town. <br />Mr. McQuillan said he had written two letters in the last <br />month, one to the Board of Selectmen requesting legal counsel <br />either from Mr. Legro, Town Counsel, or if he was too busy with <br />Town Matters, permission to hire other counsel to take this <br />matter of the restraining order to court.
