BOARD O ' ,E1LTH TIL��TING <br />JULY 13, 1964 <br />The regular meeting: of the Board of T' elth was held i onday <br />evening, July 13, 1964 at 7:00 P.E. in the Board of Health Office. <br />;embers Present were: Mr. R.L. McQuillan, Chairman, Dr. iliiam <br />Cosgrove, kr. James M. ',Jest and Health Director, James 1. r inneran. <br />The minutes of the June 1, 1964 meeting were approved as read. <br />Motion was made and dully passed that TIr. R.L. McQuillan be <br />re-elected as Chairman for the coming year. <br />Copy of the letter stating the Planning Boards approval <br />of the definitive subdivision plan entitled "Plan of Lots on <br />Mohawk Drive, Lex;n ton, Lass. (formerly Gleason Terrace) was <br />placed on file by the Board. This nlan had been passed by the <br />Board et the last meeting. It will all be public sewered. <br />23 <br />SUBDIVISION <br />I` OWI=AbdK DH. <br />The letter from the Board of Selectmen stating that James ATPOI.e`.`MEP;T <br />M. West had been re -appointed to the board of Health for three <br />years. The term expiring June 1, 1967, was read and placed on <br />file. <br />The letter to Ur. g, Mrs. Hoxie, 884 rias: achusetts Avenue, 884. T ASS AV <br />was anrroved by the Board. Ur. Finneran explained that Mr. Sc <br />Frs. Hoxie had complained about the glare of the street light <br />located in front of their house. In as much as Ur. Carroll, <br />Superintendent of Public Jorks, has charge of the contracts <br />and ve_^ifys the location of public street lights the complaint <br />was delegated to the Public Works Department. <br />The letter to the two I'edical Laboratories and to all Lex- STRIP <br />ington Doctors stating that the weekend Culture Service would THROAT <br />be dropped by the Health Department at the close of school was Pi20GRAl`R <br />approved by the Board. <br />Er. McQuillan asked if we would have to resume this service <br />in. the fall. <br />Mr. Finneran exrla:i_ned that the revision of the Comunicable <br />Disease Quarantine Regulations were cording before the Legislature <br />this month so until after that hearing he did not know. <br />N . The dirt and the accum- BIIIGUAt''S <br />ulation of rubbish behind these stores is very bad and very <br />unsightly. Ips. vest reauested Mr. Finneran to check this matter <br />out and take what steps are necessary to get it cleaned ur. <br />Mr. r`inneran said that that particular area has been checked <br />and most of the debris is from Brigham's where they have a take- <br />out service, therefore it has been difficult to control. <br />Lr. ';Test asked about the other stores did they have rubbish <br />stored in the rear. <br />
