14 <br />As there was no further business to come before the <br />Board the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P.M. <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />APRIL 6, 1964 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Mon- <br />day, April 6, 19614 at 7:00 P.M. in the Health Department Office. <br />Members present were R.L. McQuillan, Chairman, Dr. William <br />Cosgrove and Health Officer, James F. Finneran. <br />read. <br />Minutes of the March 9, 19614 meeting were approved as <br />SEWER The reports to the Board of Selectmen regarding the sewer <br />PETITIONS petitions for Waltham Street from Kendall Road to Brookside <br />Avenue and Lincoln Street from Marrett Road to Barrymeade <br />Drive were approved by the Board. <br />SEWER The copies of the letter sent by Mr. John Carroll, Super - <br />DUMPING intendent of Public Works, to the licensed sewage disposal <br />STATION companies were read by the Board. Mr. Finneran reported that <br />Mr. Carroll will try to find another sewer dumping station <br />to be used in case of emergency when the Bow Street Station <br />is unavailable. <br />STREP The letter to the two Lexington Medical Laboratories <br />THROAT (National Laboratories and Lexington Medical Laboratory) <br />PROGRAM regarding the agreement to contract the week -end Laboratory <br />services for Group "A" hemolytic streptococcus throat cul- <br />tures was approved by the Board. This week -end service <br />enables the physician to carry on uninterrupted the throat <br />culture service for school children conducted by the Health <br />Department Monday through Friday. <br />7 BRIDGE The letter to Mr. Edmund Lynch owner of the property at <br />STREET 7 Bridge Street was approved by the Board. Mr. Finneran <br />reported that the sanitary disposal system was blocked and <br />the tenants had complained to the Health Department regarding <br />the condition. Mr. Lynch as owner is responsible for having <br />this condition taken care of. Mr. Lynch upon receipt of this <br />letter called to state he had hired a sewage company to re- <br />pair the disposal system. A letter was also received from <br />the sewage disposal company stating the repairs that were <br />made. <br />STREP The letter to Dr. Henry Isaksen, School Personell Dir - <br />PROGRAM ector, explaining the throat culture service and waiver of <br />the Streptococcal Throat Infection regulation was approved <br />by the Board. Mr. Finneran called to the attention of the <br />Board a report in the Health Officer's report regarding the <br />throat culture program. <br />LOT The letter to Mr. Chester Kuryb, lawyer, confirming the <br />APPROVAL approval of Lot 15 of the subdivision entitled "Country Club <br />Manor" was approved. <br />CC <br />cr <br />tr <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
