McQuillan, Chairman, Dr. William <br />Cosgrove and Health Officer, Mark D. Lurvey. <br />Mr. Nickerson, State Health Department Sanitary Engineer, <br />met with the Board to discuss the problem of odors coming from <br />the brook at Summer and Lowell Streets in Lexington. The cause <br />of these odors originate at the Sanitary Land Fill Program on <br />Summer Street in Arlington, Massachusetts. Mr. Nickerson stated <br />that he would submit his report in which he will make definite <br />itecommendations that the Town of Arlington adopt and also in this <br />report he will state a time limit for the Town of Arlington to <br />eliminate this nuisance. <br />Mr. Nickerson also recommended that.if the Town of Arlington <br />does not correct or fulfill these conditions that he suggests that <br />the Lexington Board of Health requests a petition of a hearing <br />with the State Board of Public Health under Chapter 158 of the <br />General Laws. <br />SUMMER & <br />LOWELL ST. <br />BROOK <br />The animal application of Chester W. McInnis, 521 Marrett ANIMAL <br />Road, to keep a horse was approved by the Board.
