431 <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />BOARD OF HEALTH <br />June 29, 1960 <br />A Special meeting of the Lexington Board of health was <br />held Friday June 29, 1960 at 12 o'clock nbon.atE'.the'_Battle <br />Green Restaurant. Members present were R.L. McQuillan, Chair- <br />man, Dr. William Cosgrove and Health Officer Mark D. Lurvey. <br />Two sub -divisions were approved by the Board. They SUBDIVISION <br />were Burnham Farm, Section 5 and Oak Hill Estates, Section APPROVAL <br />3. <br />A report was heard from Mr. Lurvey of odors coming from SUMMER STREET <br />the Brook which runs along the Arlington Sanitary Land Fill BROOK <br />program on Route 2A, under Summer Street and Lowell Street and <br />back of Busa's Farm into the Arlington Resivoir. Mr. Lurvey <br />reported he met with Mr. Bowers, Arlington Health Officer and <br />Mr. O'Hara, Public Works Superintendent of Arlington. Mr. Lurvey <br />was assured that the Town of Arlington would do everything <br />possible to relieve this situation. <br />Mr. Lurvey reported he had been shown by Mr. Ralph Frissore ANIMAL <br />where the stable will be erected at 172 Middleby Road. The PERMIT <br />permit to keep horses can now be sent to Mr. Frissore. . <br />A letter from the Board of Appeals was also read regarding CHILD CAR1 <br />the Jewish Community Child Care Center at 1508 Massachuetts CENTER <br />Avenue, Lexington. It was agreed that a permit from the Board <br />could be issued. <br />Mr. Lurvey discussed the complaints he had received 74 HILL <br />about the horse being kept at 7(} Hill Street by Mr. Leeland STREET <br />McConchie. <br />Meeting was adjourned at 1:00 P.M. <br />
