1 <br />1 <br />371 <br />BOARD OF HEALTH SPECIAL MEETING <br />May 8, 1959 <br />The following agenda was submitted at a special meeting of <br />the Board of Health held on May 8, 1959. Mr. McQuillan, Mr. Cole <br />and Mr. Lurvey were present at this meeting. <br />Laurence Kraynick's Saturday work when needed. <br />Gerard Friel concerning 2933 Massachusetts Avenue sewage <br />problem. <br />John Brucchi, 63 Paul Revere Road, Animal permit. <br />Letter to Irving H. Mabee, Chairman of the Town Members <br />Association. <br />Edwin Waite, 68 Bow Street, drug bill for tuberculosis <br />treatment. <br />At this meeting it was voted that the services of Mr. Kraynick <br />when needed on Saturday would be secured. This spring has provided <br />the usual large number of new building permit applications, sewage <br />problems. Mr. Kraynick cannot work any other day other than on <br />Friday and Saturday. The Town pays the same fee for Saturday work <br />as any other day. <br />It was also voted at this meeting that Mr. Ger -Friel be <br />informed that he is to provide adequate sewage tacil.is for the <br />dwelling at 2933 Massachusetts Avenue independent of any other <br />sewage installation in this area. Mr. Kraynick is to work out s, <br />solution for this problem. <br />It was voted that John Brucchi'a animal permit be approved as <br />received. <br />The matter of the letter sent to the Chairman of the Town Meeting <br />Members Association was discussed. <br />Mr. Edwin Waiters drug bill of $62.50 was approved by the Board. <br />It was voted to inform Mr. Waite that the Board of Health refuses <br />to pay for any further drug treatment as he owns his own home free of <br />any mortgage, he owns a summer camp in New Hampshire free of any <br />mortgage, and he owns a 1958 Ford. It was also noted that .a son-in- <br />law lives with Mr. Waite who pays nothing for rent or board. The <br />Board of Health feels the son-in-law could at least pay for these <br />drugs which cost $21 per month. <br />
