Vaccine is coming through slowly. ?-ri <br />1" C <br />The meeting adjourned at 4 13.M. <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />May 24, 1957 <br />Clerk <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Health was held in the <br />Selectmen's Room, Town Offices, on Friday, May 24, 1957, with <br />Chairman McQuillan, Mr. Cole and Mr. Lurvey present. <br />Two subdivisions were presented for approval. Loring Hill <br />Sub- Estates, Section 1, dated April 12, 1957, was approved by the <br />divisions Board as all lots are to be connected to town sewer. Battle <br />View Park, Section 2, dated April 24, 1957, is not sewered, <br />and Mr. Frissore will have it checked for the Board's approval <br />by Whitman & Reward. <br />Mr. Peter Canessa met with the Board at 3.15 P.M. to dis- <br />cuss the problem of an overflowing cesspool at his property, <br />Canessa 905 Massachusetts Avenue. Mr. Canessa said he is not in a <br />position to take on the heavy expense of sewer connection at <br />this time, but would be willing to do anything he can to cor- <br />rect the nuisance. After some discussion as to the system <br />a1ready.there ::thandistance to the sewer, etc., it was agreed <br />that Mr. Canessa and Mr. Lurvey would meet on Monday, May 27, <br />at the property, and work out a new system. A letter is to <br />be sent to Mr. Canessa giving him two weeks to build an ade- <br />quate sywerage system. <br />An application for financial assistance from Mr. Bernard <br />Benoit C. Benoit, 43 Laconia Street, for the hospital bill for a <br />Premature premature baby was denied as the Board decided this is not <br />Baby a hardship case. <br />Mr. Alexander Traill, 905B Massachusetts Avenue, has <br />Traill applied for financial aid in the case of his son, Daniel, <br />hospitalized for scarlet fever recently.
