BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />December 14, 1956 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Health was held in the <br />Selectmen's Room, Town Offices, on Friday, December 14, at <br />3 P.M. Chairman McQuillan, Dr. Cosgrove, Mr. Cole, and Mr. <br />Lurvey were present. <br />Wild Acre Inn, 50 Percy Road, has not yet complied with <br />the Rules and Regulation of the Board of Health, and the <br />Board of Selectmen is holding up the approval of the Common <br />Victuallers License. Mr. Lurvey suggested that a letter be <br />sent to the owner, Mrs. Coleman, stating that conditions must <br />be fulfilled before the Board of Health will recommend the <br />granting of the Common Victuallers License. A copy of this <br />letter is to be sent to the Selectmen. <br />The Board wishes a letter to be sent to the Board of Se- <br />lectmen asking that an article be put in the next Town Warrant <br />asking for a committee to study the need for a hospital in <br />Lexington and the availability of a site. $500 will be needed <br />for the committee for services. <br />Mr. McQuillan spoke of the meeting to be held sometime <br />with the Planning Board and the Board of Selectmen to discuss <br />the present and future plans for sewers in the town. No date <br />has been found as yet, but a date will be arranged after the <br />first of January. <br />The Board inquired of Mr. Lurvey as to the need of special New <br />funds for equipment of the new offices. Mr. Lurvey understands Office <br />regular equipment will be supplied, but will check with Mr. Reed, <br />Chairman of the Board of Selectmen. <br />285 <br />Wild <br />Acre <br />Inn <br />Hospital <br />Sewer <br />Survey <br />A Diphtheria -Tetanus Clinic is to be held on January 12, <br />1957, to complete the inoculations interrupted last March by <br />the start of the Polio Program. <br />Bills to the amount of $540.70 were approved. <br />Licenses were signed for Child Care, Pasteurization of <br />Milk, Methyl Alcohol, and Disposal of Garbage and Rubbish. <br />The Executive Health Officer's report was read, discussed <br />and approved. <br />The next meeting of the Board will be Friday, January 18, <br />1957.
