278 <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />September 21, 1956 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Health was held in <br />the Selectmen's xoom, awn Offices, at 3 P.M. on September <br />21, 1956. Chairman McQuillan, Dr. Cosgrove, Mr. Cole and <br />Mr. Lurvey were present. <br />Stub- Since the last meeting of the Board on July 20, six <br />divisions subdivisions have bben approved for the Planning Board's <br />consideration: <br />Hawthorne Acres, Section 1, dated June 12, 1956 <br />Battle View Park, Section , dated July 9, 1956 <br />Techbuilt, Section 2, Middle Ridge <br />Adams Estates, Section 2 <br />Hancock Heights <br />Land Court Case #5982, dated Msy 1, 1956 <br />One Animal Permit application was approved by the Board <br />Animal to be issued when a suitable building is erected to house <br />Permits the animals, Frederick J. Hopwood, 172 Burlington Street, <br />2 horses, 25 poultry. <br />Per;nit Two applications for renewal of Permits for Homes for <br />the Aged were signed, 2027 Mass. Avenue and 20 Parker Street. <br />Rubbish An application for a Permit to remove, transport and <br />Permit dispose of Rubbish was approved for John Cuccinello, 72 <br />Valleyfield Street. <br />The expenditures of the 1956 Polio Program were dis- <br />Polio cussed. Mr. Lurvey estimates the $635.00 left will take <br />Program care of the remaining inoculation clinics for the year. <br />It was decided to ask for a fund of 12500 in the budget <br />for 1957 so that an adequate amount will be available for <br />the program next year. <br />A Make -Up Clinic for second polio inoculations for the <br />1 thru 14 age group is to be held on September 22, 9.30 to <br />11 A.M., Cary Hall, for children who missed the clinics <br />scheduled in July. <br />On Octbber 6, a clinic is scheduled for first inocula- <br />tions for the 15 thru 19 age group. Stragglers for first <br />shots in the 1 thru 14 age group, and school children who <br />did not show up at the July clinics for secondshots may <br />attend this clinic. <br />Bills were approved by the Board to the amount of $1323.66. <br />fi1l18These included regular bills received in July, August, and <br />September, to date. The financial condition of the budget <br />was discussed. We are staying within the appropriation all <br />right. <br />dhnson A bill for premature baby Johnson from Symmes Arlington <br />Premature Hospital for $480.55 was approved as both Mr. Lurvey and <br />Baby Mr. Collins investigated and feel the father needs assistance. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
