278 BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING September 21, 1956 A regular meeting of the Board of Health was held in the Selectmen's xoom, awn Offices, at 3 P.M. on September 21, 1956. Chairman McQuillan, Dr. Cosgrove, Mr. Cole and Mr. Lurvey were present. Stub- Since the last meeting of the Board on July 20, six divisions subdivisions have bben approved for the Planning Board's consideration: Hawthorne Acres, Section 1, dated June 12, 1956 Battle View Park, Section , dated July 9, 1956 Techbuilt, Section 2, Middle Ridge Adams Estates, Section 2 Hancock Heights Land Court Case #5982, dated Msy 1, 1956 One Animal Permit application was approved by the Board Animal to be issued when a suitable building is erected to house Permits the animals, Frederick J. Hopwood, 172 Burlington Street, 2 horses, 25 poultry. Per;nit Two applications for renewal of Permits for Homes for the Aged were signed, 2027 Mass. Avenue and 20 Parker Street. Rubbish An application for a Permit to remove, transport and Permit dispose of Rubbish was approved for John Cuccinello, 72 Valleyfield Street. The expenditures of the 1956 Polio Program were dis- Polio cussed. Mr. Lurvey estimates the $635.00 left will take Program care of the remaining inoculation clinics for the year. It was decided to ask for a fund of 12500 in the budget for 1957 so that an adequate amount will be available for the program next year. A Make -Up Clinic for second polio inoculations for the 1 thru 14 age group is to be held on September 22, 9.30 to 11 A.M., Cary Hall, for children who missed the clinics scheduled in July. On Octbber 6, a clinic is scheduled for first inocula- tions for the 15 thru 19 age group. Stragglers for first shots in the 1 thru 14 age group, and school children who did not show up at the July clinics for secondshots may attend this clinic. Bills were approved by the Board to the amount of $1323.66. fi1l18These included regular bills received in July, August, and September, to date. The financial condition of the budget was discussed. We are staying within the appropriation all right. dhnson A bill for premature baby Johnson from Symmes Arlington Premature Hospital for $480.55 was approved as both Mr. Lurvey and Baby Mr. Collins investigated and feel the father needs assistance. 1 1 1
