BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />July 22, 1955 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held <br />in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Friday, <br />July 22, 1955. Present were Chairman McQuillan, Dr. <br />Cosgrove and Mr. Lurvey. <br />Reports of the Lexington Visiting Nurse Association <br />and the Middlesex County Sanatorium were read and discussed. <br />There was some discussion about Albert R. Muir's settle - <br />Went, a patient at the Sanatorium. Lexington is responsi- <br />ble at the present time. A new patient, Nicholina Galarneau, <br />89 Bow Street, is to be admitted on Monday, July 25. We <br />will have five in all, four having been discharged recently. <br />Two applications for permits to keep animals and live- <br />stock were presented. One, Mrs. Swenson, 145 Spring St., <br />was granted, but Mr. Brucchi's application is being held <br />for consideration. A letter dictated by Mr. McQuillan is <br />to be sent to Mr. William Maloney who is said to be keeping <br />animals at the former Breck's property(Brucchi). <br />The Health S anitarian's report was discussed. The <br />Wingate Road section must be severed. Mr. Lurvey is to take <br />it up with Mr. Burns, Public Works. <br />The Board asked about the old Reservoir and the North <br />Street sand pit. Mr. Lurvey is running water tests. The <br />Planning Board is interested in these sites as future rec- <br />reational sites. <br />Mr. Lurvey asked the Board if it would like the lots, <br />cesspools, septic tanks, etc., listed that he inspects each <br />month. The Board said it would like any unusual cases <br />brought to its attention. <br />The next meeting of the Board will be on September 16, <br />no meeting in August. <br />Clerk <br />255 <br />Animal <br />Permits <br />
