220 <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />January 15, 1954 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Health was held Friday, <br />January 15th., 1954 at 3.00 P.M. in the Selectmen's Room, Town <br />Office Building. Mr. McQuillan, Chairman, Dr. Cosgrove and <br />Mr. Cole were present. Mr. Richard Jackson, Health Sanitarian, <br />and the Clerk were also present. <br />Mortimer A letter from Mr. A. L. Mortimer with regard to his connect- <br />ing to the Manor sewer was presented to the Board. It was sug- <br />gested by the Chairman that Mr. Mortimer be contacted and asked <br />to appear before the Board at their next regular meeting to dis- <br />cuss this situation. <br />Animal Dr. John Murphy's report as Animal Inspector for the first <br />Inspe,ctdr three months of the year 1953 was noted. <br />L.V.N.A. report for the month of December, 1953, also noted. <br />Sunnyknoll Whitman& Howard's report on the sewage disposal facilities <br />_Terrace of Sunnyknoll Terrace received and approved by the Board pro- <br />viding the developer accepts the recommendations as suggested in <br />the x®port. <br />Swine <br />The Chairman requested that a letter be sent to Mr. Stevens, <br />Town Counsel, inquiring as to what is being done on the matter <br />of Mr. William Dailey keeping swine on Marrett Road. <br />The members of the Board request Mr. Jackson to get bids on <br />publishing the new Rules and Regulations of the Board of Health. <br />Animal It was also recommended by the Board that a letter be sent <br />Permits to all persons keeping livestock on their premises who have not <br />made application for a permit, to appear before the Board at <br />their meeting, to explain their reason for dot doing so. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to grant <br />the following permits and licenses - <br />Community Nursery School <br />Madeleine C.
