116 BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING April 20, 1951 A regular meeting of the Board of Health was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building on Friday, April 20th at 3:00 P.M. Chairman Cosgrove, Messrs. Rus- sell, McQuillan, Jackson (Health Sanitarian) and the Agent were present. Letter was received from Vlado A. Getting, M.D., Commissioner of Public Health, approving Mr. Jackson's nomination as Slaughter Inspector for the year ending March 31, 1952. Upon motion of Mr. McQuillan, seconded by Mr. Rus- Slaughter sell, it was voted to appoint Mr. Jacks n as Slaughter Inspector Inspector in the Town of Lexington for a term expiring March 31, 1952. Letter was received from William Casey, Director of the Department of Agriculture, approving the nom- ination of Dr. John J. Murphy as Inspector of Animals for the year ending March 31, 1952. Inspector Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. McQuillan, of it was voted to re -appoint Dr. Murphy as Inspector of Animals Animals in the Town of Lexington for a term expiring March 31, 1952. Letter was received from the Lexington Visiting Nurse Association offering to perform certain types of public health services in the Town on behalf of the Board of Health. L.V.N.A. A copy of the communication had previously been mailed to Services each member of the Board. It was agreed to accept the offer on the conditions outlined in the letter and to so advise the Association. Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. McQuillan, it was voted (upon recommendation and approval of Mr. infant Jackson) to renew the following licenses to maintain Homes Boarding for the Boarding of Infants: Homes Licenses Mrs. Louise Brown, 28 Winter Street 2 children Mrs. Veronica Belcastro, 174 Wood St. 2 children Upon motion of Mr. McQuillan, seconded by Mr. Russell, it was voted to grant renewals of the following licenses: Albert F. Douglass 1844 Mass. Avenue Thomas M.Montague 25 Dppot Square Alice M. McCarthy 80 Bedford Street Funeral Director ft n a n 1 1
