116 <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />April 20, 1951 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Health was held <br />in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building on Friday, <br />April 20th at 3:00 P.M. Chairman Cosgrove, Messrs. Rus- <br />sell, McQuillan, Jackson (Health Sanitarian) and the <br />Agent were present. <br />Letter was received from Vlado A. Getting, M.D., <br />Commissioner of Public Health, approving Mr. Jackson's <br />nomination as Slaughter Inspector for the year ending <br />March 31, 1952. <br />Upon motion of Mr. McQuillan, seconded by Mr. Rus- <br />Slaughter sell, it was voted to appoint Mr. Jacks n as Slaughter <br />Inspector Inspector in the Town of Lexington for a term expiring <br />March 31, 1952. <br />Letter was received from William Casey, Director <br />of the Department of Agriculture, approving the nom- <br />ination of Dr. John J. Murphy as Inspector of Animals for <br />the year ending March 31, 1952. <br />Inspector Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. McQuillan, <br />of it was voted to re -appoint Dr. Murphy as Inspector of <br />Animals Animals in the Town of Lexington for a term expiring <br />March 31, 1952. <br />Letter was received from the Lexington Visiting Nurse <br />Association offering to perform certain types of public health <br />services in the Town on behalf of the Board of Health. <br />L.V.N.A. A copy of the communication had previously been mailed to <br />Services each member of the Board. <br />It was agreed to accept the offer on the conditions <br />outlined in the letter and to so advise the Association. <br />Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. McQuillan, <br />it was voted (upon recommendation and approval of Mr. <br />infant Jackson) to renew the following licenses to maintain Homes <br />Boarding for the Boarding of Infants: <br />Homes <br />Licenses <br />Mrs. Louise Brown, 28 Winter Street 2 children <br />Mrs. Veronica Belcastro, 174 Wood St. 2 children <br />Upon motion of Mr. McQuillan, seconded by Mr. Russell, <br />it was voted to grant renewals of the following licenses: <br />Albert F. Douglass 1844 Mass. Avenue <br />Thomas M.Montague 25 Dppot Square <br />Alice M. McCarthy 80 Bedford Street <br />Funeral Director <br />ft n <br />a n <br />1 <br />1 <br />
