96. <br />Physiotherapy <br />License <br />Infant boarding <br />home <br />Past. of <br />milk <br />Gibson <br />Poultry <br />denied <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />October 20, 1950 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Health was <br />held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building <br />on Friday, October 20, 1950 at 3:00 P.M. Chairman <br />Cosgrove, Messrs. Russell and McQuillan were pres- <br />ent. Mr. Jackson, Health Sanitarian, and Miss Mur- <br />ray, Agent, were also present. <br />Application was received from Mrs. Grace B. <br />Cole, 41 Kendall Road for the renewal of a physio- <br />therapy License. <br />Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. Mc- <br />Quillan, it was unanimously voted to renew the license. <br />Application was received from Dorothy S. Kozman, <br />40 Normandy hoad for a license to maintain a child <br />day nursery. <br />It was agreed to defer action until after the <br />Board of Appeals hearing which is scheduled for next <br />Thursday evening. <br />Application was received from Elisabeth White, <br />26 Downing Road for the renewal of a license to main- <br />tain a Boarding House for Infants. <br />Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. Mc- <br />Quillan, it was unanimously voted to approve the ap- <br />plication and forward it'to the Division of Child <br />Guardianship. <br />Applications were received from Patrick Shana- <br />han, 52 pleasant Street and John A. Sellars Dairy, <br />430 Concord Avenue, for the renewal of licenses to <br />maintain establishments for the pasteurization of <br />milk. <br />Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. Mc- <br />Quillan, it was voted to renew both licenses. <br />Application was received from William Gibson, <br />25 Bedford STreet for a permit to keep 50 poultry. <br />Mr. Jackson reported that he alretdy has the poultry <br />without a permit. <br />It was the unanimous epinibn of the Board that <br />no permit should be grantee to keep poultry in such <br />a thickly settled residential area, and upon motion <br />duly made and seconded, ti was voted to deny the ap- <br />plication and request Mr. Gibson to dispose of the <br />poultry which he now has not later than December 31, <br />1950. <br />
