BOARD OF HEALTH,MEETING <br />September 18, 1950 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Health was held <br />in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building on Fri- <br />day, September 15, 1950 at 3:00 P.M. Chairman Cosgrove; <br />Mr. Jackson, the Sanitarian; and Miss Murray, the Agent, <br />were present. <br />The health Sanitarian's report for the period from <br />July 20 to Spetember 14th was received, reed and placed <br />on file. <br />Applications were received from the following per- <br />sons for licenses to furnish dc.y care to childrent <br />Community Nursery School <br />Mrs. Jane H. Cuzner <br />Mrs. Allen H. Ward <br />2325 Massachusetts Avenue <br />173 Marrett Road <br />233 East Street <br />Inasmuch as the Community Nursery School has been <br />granted permission, from the Board of Ar,peals, to con- <br />duct a school in the rosidentail area, the 'hairman. <br />signed the permit required from the Board of Health <br />and the Agent agreed to forward it to the other members <br />of the Board for signatures. <br />Due to the fact that permission to maintain pri- <br />vate schools in a residentail area is something which <br />the Board of Appeals should act upon, no action was <br />taken on the other two applications. The Agent was <br />instructed to advise the applicants that the Board <br />of Health will consider this subject insofar as it <br />comes under its jurisdiction of and when approval <br />is given by the Board of Appeals. <br />The Agent informed the Chairman, and had previous- <br />ly explained the situation to Messrs. Russell -and Mc- <br />Quillan, that the balance in the Board of Health Expenses <br />Account as of September 1st was $364.00 and the antic- <br />ipated expenses for the balance of'the year amount to <br />$2,767.50. It was unanimously agreed that a transfer <br />of $2,800 from the Reserve Fund be requested. <br />The meeting adjourned at 3:40 P.M. <br />A true record, attest: <br />
