52 <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />June 3. 1949 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Health was held <br />in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building on Friday, <br />June 3, 1949 at 8:00 P. M. Chairman McQuillan, Messrs. <br />Russell and Cosgrove were present. <br />Mr. Herbert, attorney for Mrs. Alice Sullivan, who <br />Sullivan operates a convalescent home at 47 Lincoln Street, met <br />Conv. Home with the Board because of the fact that Mrs. Sullivan's <br />applciation for'the renewal of her license to operate a <br />convalescent home has been denied. Mr. Herbert may re- <br />quest an appointment to discuss this subject at the next <br />regular meeting of the Board <br />Mr. Powers and `Liss Morrison of the Lexington <br />Visiting Nurse Association met with the Board to dis- <br />cuss the Association's communication of May 11, 1949 <br />with reference to the bills submitted by Miss Morrison. <br />L.V.N.A. It was agreed that the Board of Health and the represen- <br />bills tatives-from the Association meet with the Selectmen to <br />explain the Association's request for reimbursement for <br />various services which the Directors believe should be <br />paid by the town. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to <br />elect Dr. Cosgrove as Chairman of the Board to serve for <br />a term expiring June, 1950. <br />It was agreed that the Clerk should be instructed <br />to write to Mr. Lyon and Mr. Mills regarding the dump <br />situation on Concord Avenue and request that dumping be <br />discontinued and the refuse now in the area removed or <br />covered. <br />Chairman <br />1 <br />
