50
Dump
BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING
May 25, 1949
A special meeting of the Board of Health was held
in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building on Wednes-
day evening, May.25, 1949 at 8:00 p. m. Chairman Mc-
Quillan, Messrs, Russell and Cosgrove were present. Mr.
Edwin Powers, president of the Lexington Visiting Nurse
Association was also present.
The principle subject for consideration was the
bills rendered by the Lexington Visiting Nurse Associa-
tion and the items were discussed at length. It was
finally decided to have another meeting on Friday, June
3, 1949 at which time Miss Morrison of the Association
would be present to give the Board more information re-
garding the charges made.
Letter was received from Mr. W. H. Lyon, together
with photographs, informing the Board that a dump has
been established on Concord Avenue between dwellings
numbered 275 and 303. The Board decided to refer the
complaining to the Health Inspector for investigation and
report.
Further consideration was given to Mr. Cannuli's
application for permission to keep 500 turkeys off
Turkey WoburnStreet on Leonard Road. A thorough investigation
permit of the premises was made by the Board and it was unani-
denied mously voted to deny the application.
The next regular meeting of the Board will be held
on Friday, June 24, 1949 at 3:00 P. M.
1
