BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING <br />December 6, 1947 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Health was <br />held in the Selectmen's Room on Saturday morning, <br />December 6, 1947 at 11:00 a.m. This meeting was <br />called for the purpose of officially adopting <br />new Rules and Regulations of the Lexington Board <br />pf Health. Mr. McQuillan and Mr. Russell were <br />present. <br />Referring to the rules and regulations that <br />the Board of Health has made and caused to be pub- <br />lished in the Lexington Minute Man on November 13, <br />1947 as required by Statute, a copy of Which is in- <br />corporated into the minutes of this meeting, Mr. <br />Russell offered the following vote: <br />That the foregoing Regulations, designated <br />respectively as Chapter 1 - Chapter 12 inclusive, <br />be and hereby are adopted and that, except insofar <br />as they are the same, they supersede all previously <br />existing rules and regulations. <br />Mr. McQuillan seconded the vote. <br />Adopt New <br />Rules and <br />Regulations <br />The nomination of Dr. John J. Murphy as Inspector <br />of Animals was approved by the Department of Agriculture, <br />Division of Livestock Control. <br />Mr. Russell moved that Dr. Murphy be appointed as <br />Inspector of Animals in the Town of Lexington for the <br />unexpired term ending March 31, 1947. Mr. McQuillan <br />seconded the motion, and it was so voted. <br />Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. Mc- <br />Quillan it was voted to grant the following licenses: <br />John Reardon & Sons. Transportation of garbage <br />Walter F. Murphy Alcohol <br />George F.
