Wendy Heiger-Bernays, PhD, served as Chair Person. <br /> Director Cody reviewed the Community Health Report; <br /> Mental Health First Aid(MHFA) and Youth Mental Health First Aid(YMHFA) classes continue to be offered to <br /> members of the community, Lexington Public Schools teachers and staff and faith-based organizations in Lexington. <br /> Training have been scheduled free-of-charge upon request. Upcoming training dates include; May 3rd, May 24d. <br /> Debra Packard, Bring Your Own Bag Lexington Committee, met with the BOH to discuss a draft of Committee's Plastic <br /> Bag Reduction Bylaw. The Committee is working with local merchants to reduce the bags from 2.5 grams. <br /> Environmental Health report was reviewed and the following topics were discussed; <br /> Beijing Chinese Dining; 3 repeat critical violations of the food code were observed at an inspection that took place on <br /> February 27, 2018. An OTC was issued on February 28, 2018. After some discussion, Sharon MacKenzie R.N., CCM, <br /> proposed a motion that stated, "Based on the evidence provided in the Order to Correct Letter dated February 28, 2018, it <br /> is well documented that additional training is required for the management and food service staff at Being Fine Dining. <br /> The training is to take place while the establishment is closed, managers and food service staff are to be trained by an <br /> approved Food Safety Consultant. Topics for the training are based on the three Repeat Critical Violations. The topics <br /> are as follows:Person in Charge requirements for I day, Food Protection from Cross Contamination on day 2 and <br /> Keeping Food out of the Danger Zone on day 3. Each day of closure and training is not required to be on consecutive <br /> days, however all the trainings and closures must take place before Tuesday May 1, 2018. By Friday March 30, 2018, <br /> provide the name of the Food Consultant that will conduct the training and the dates that the establishment will be closed. <br /> In addition, Being is required to have the food consultant conduct and unannounced food inspection and report back to <br /> the Board of Health at the May meeting. It is the expectation of the Lexington Board of Health that Being will comply <br /> with the Food Code requirements. Your 2018 Food Permit to operate will not be issued until the three days of closure <br />
