r
TM1A 1. __
COUNSELLORS - — --
SEARS BUILDING,Room SIq
i9g Washington St.
CHARLES ROBINSON, GEORGE A.BLANEY,
SUMNER ROBINSON.
Boston,Nov 3,1891
GEORGE RA1UZZEY,Fsq,
Clerk Boa-d of Selectmen of Lexington
Dear Sir;
Your letter of October 31st is re-
ceived. The bill about wl-iich we wrote you is the bill connected
with the suit of Brown vs Lexington of which we sent you a particu-
lar bill sometime a7o. Tile services rendered and the charges made
consist of a retainer charged by iIir Robinson when -first Been by the
to%,n, authorities and for various interviews with the selectmen and
the Committe on Building, preparin.-7 for trial and attendance in
court in regard to the matter. I dont understand what else you
mean by a bill of particulars and we think you will find the bill
which we sent you was in such form as is usually made on such oc-
casions. Mr Robinson and myself were of the opinion that the
charge is a proper one to make against the town and,,Iwas made up
in his lifetime , and I know that the bill i'irst rendered was ren-
dered to ,you before he died/at the same time that I remitted to
you and the others who wet-e witnesses the costs collected by us
from the plaintiff Brown. Yours truly ,
