HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-10-2485 LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS October 24, 1985 Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -Man, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town, published on October 10 and 17, 1985 and notice sent by mail, postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearings were held in the Town Office Building on the petitions listed below. Acting on the petitions were: Vice Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Robert M. Gary, Anne R. Scigliano, Clarence D. Turner, and Associate Member Eric T. Clarke. 2 Forbes Road: Honeywell E.O.D. requested a special permit, pursuant to Zoning By -Law Section 3.4, to construct a 1,000 square foot storage building addition. Land at Hartwell Avenue and Maguire Road: Maguire Road Realty Trust, Steven Colangelo requested a variance of dimensional controls, Zoning By -Law Section 7 and Table 2, so that an office building may be built on 2.24 acres, instead of 3 acres of land at Hartwell Avenue and Maguire Road, shown on Town of Lexington Property Map 80, Lot 7 and Map 85, Lot 17. Land at Hartwell Avenue and Maguire Road: Maguire Road Realty Trust, Steven Colangelo requested a special permit with site plan review, pursuant to Zoning By -Law Section 3.4, to construct a building for offices and research and development for uses under Line Items 4.3, 4.4 and 7.2 of Table 1, Use Regulation Schedule. ' 27 Muzzey Street: Kemm Realty Trust IV, Donald H. Katz, Trustee, requested a special permit under the provisions of Zoning By -Law Section 6.4, or in the alternative a variance from Section 5, so that the applicant may use the premises known as 27 Muzzey Street as a general purpose office building for rental to multiple tenants; also a variance of Section 11, Off -Street Parking and Loading Requirements, to allow less than the number of parking spaces required under Section 11.3. Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. 2 Forbes Rd. - SPS granted unanimously. Land at Hartwell Avenue and Maguire Rd.: Variance denied by vote of 4 to 1, Eric T. Clarke voting in favor. Special Permit request was withdrawn with unanimous approval of the Board. 27 Muzzey St. - SP granted by vote of 4 to 1, Robert M. Gary voting in the negative.
