The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room
at 7:45 P.M. Present and acting on petitions were:
Thomas G. Taylor, Chairman
Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman
Anne R. Scigliano
Clarence D. Turner
Alfred S. Busa, Associate
Public hearings were held on the following petitions. -
3 Ledgelawn Ave., Mary A. Gallagher & Stephen J. Harvell requested a special permit
to maintain a dwelling as presently located (ZBL Section 7.4.9).
45 Bernard Rd., Diane & Mary E. Kapulka requested a special permit to allow two
sheds to remain as located (ZBL Section 7.4.9).
31 Independence Ave., George L. Harris requested a special permit to allow a one-
story dwelling to remain as located (ZBL Section 7.4.9).
7 Homestead St., Robert Frank requested a variance to allow a garage to be built
with insufficient rear and side yards.
7 Stedman ' Rd., Assemblies of God Christian Center requested a special permit to place a sign on the building at 7 Stedman Rd.
19 Muzzey St., Muzzey St. Associates requested a special permit for a standing
sign for the Lexington Medical Center.
39 Bedford St., Liberties Gulf, Inc. requested special permits: SP for automotive
sales & service uses (Table 1, lines 5.1 thru 5.4) and SP for signs (ZBL Sections
10.1.4 and 10.4.5).
Decisions filed with the Town Clerk.
3 Ledgelawn Ave. - SP granted, unanimously.
45 Bernard Rd. - SP granted, unanimously.
31 Independence Ave. - SP granted, unanimously.
7 Homestead St. - Variance granted by vote of 4 to 1, Clarence D. Turner voting
in the negative.
7 Stedman Rd. - SP granted unanimously.
19 Muzzey St. - SP granted unanimously.
39 Bedford St. - SP's granted unanimously for automotive sales & service uses and
signs on the building.
The meeting adjourned at 11:21 P.M.
