HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-10-14TOWN OF LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS October 14, 1982 The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in Selectmen's Meeting Room. Present and acting on petitions: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman Natalie H. Riffin Robert M. Gary Irving H. Mabee Thomas G. Taylor Public hearings were held on the following petitions: (beginning at 7:30 p.m.) 1777 Massachusetts Avenue, Paul C. Sidman and Issac Dray, Versailles Restaurant, Inc. requested a special permit, pursuant to Section 3.3 and Table 1, lines 6.12 and 6.14, to continue operation of a restaurant and take out food service (formerly Guenther's, Guenther & Nicole E. Weinkopf). 178 Lowell St., Lexington Hall (nursing home) requested a special permit for a standing sign. 67 Webb St., William & Yolanda Wright.. The Board of Appeals, having received notice that a notice of appeal had been filed with the Town Clerk of Lexington, held a public hearing with respect to that appeal. The appeaP is regarding a ' building permit denial by the Building Commissioner. William and Yolanda Wright wish to construct a single-family residential dwelling at 67 Webb St., property shown as Lot 13A on Lexington Assessors' Map 54. (Ref. G.L. Ch. 40A, Sections 8 and 15) . 67 Webb St., William W. Wright III and Yolanda M. Wright by Attorney Paul I. Feinberg, Boston, requested a variance (ref. Section 7.1 and Table 2) from a literal enforcement of the Zoning By -Law to enable applicant to build a single- family house at 67 Webb St. Decisions filed with the Town Clerk: 1777 Mass. Ave. - SP granted unanimously. 178 Lowell St. - SP for standing sign granted unanimously. 67 Webb St. - Variance granted unanimously. The Board voted unanimously to continue the hearing with respect to the *Appeal made by the Wrights in regard to 67 Webb St. until November 18, 1982. If the variance decision is not challenged within the 20 day appeal period, the Petitioners' appeal to the Board of Appeals will be withdrawn. The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
