HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-03-11BOARD OF APPEALS March 11, 1982 ' 7:30 P.M. The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. Present: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman Irving H. Mabee Thomas G. Taylor Eric T. Clarke, Associate Public hearings were held on the following petitions (2). Walnut St. (Lot 1, Map 2 - vacant land owned by the Middlesex County Commissioners, as part of the Middlesex Sanatarium), Adams Russell Co., Inc. (cable TV) requested a variance from Section 7.4.6 (Height Limitation Exceptions) and a special permit in accordance with ZBL Table 1, line 2.3 in order to construct a Tower approximately 250 feet in height, a 16'x24' concrete block building and three concrete pads on which to place earth stations, all for the purpose of serving as a head end site in order to receive television signals for transmission to the residents of the Town of Lexington by the Petitioner, the Cable Television Licensee for the Town. 150 East St., Dorans' Greenhouses, Inc. - requested a special permit to allow an addition to the existing building, which is presently used for the roadside stand and nursery. The addition will be approximately 25' wide by 48' long and will in part replace existing structures. This application requests a continuation of the ' present use of the premises. The request is made pursuant to Table 1, line 3.4 and Section 5.5. Decisions filed with the Town Clerk.
