HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-02-14BOARD OF APPEALS February 14, 1980 8 P.M. The Board of Appeals met in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town Office Building to continue the adjourned hearing re. Potter Pond development. The hearing had been scheduled for January 31. A supplementary Planning Board Report with revised recommendations was sub- mitted to the Board and one set of corrected plans, dated February 12, 1980. The Planning Board listed the items and areas now in compliance and suggested conditions if the special permit is granted. Robert A. Bowyer made a motion to add the following under condition No. 5, with respect to easements and access: "Access to Area D shall be provided in a manner substantially similar to that shown on the exhibit "Site Analysis' included in the proposal 'Putter Pond, Lexing, Massachusetts, A Planned Residential Community' prepared by F. William Smith and Paul W. Boyd dated 1979 and presented to the 1979 Annual Town Meeting." The motion was defeated. By vote of four to one, Mr. Bowyer voting in opposition, the Board of Appeals accepted Petitioner's Easement Agreements, submitted with the petition and again on February 14, 1980, as condition No. 5.
